Skylytic founder Greg Combs Graduated from The University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture. Greg worked as a Landscape Architect for ten years. In his time spent in the construction industry Greg quickly realized the need for aerial data sets that were quick, cheap, and most importantly accurate. Not willing to accept that Google Earth was the only real option for aerial maps Greg set out to find a solution. He ordered a hexacopter drone kit and built his first aerial mapping rig. This DIY drone was equipped with a servo triggered mirror-less camera, mounted face down on the belly of the drone. This Rig, however crude, revolutionized site data collection. Since that first DIY solution, drone technology has steadily progressed and recently made a quantum leap in hardware and software advances. In 2016 Greg Founded Skylytic LLC, an aerial data and media production company.  To date, Skylytic has successfully mapped thousands of acres. Skylytic is equipped with real-world mapping experience and prepaired to deliver an outstanding product to the end user every time. Skylytic was founded on the need for accurate, concise, and timely aerial data, Our mission at Skylytic is very simple, we strive to deliver the highest quality product, quickly, every time.
